craft room {progress}

I'm calling this a craft room "progress" because it's still not done!
I'm planning on repainting the whole room... just still not sure what color! Nothing against the soft green on one wall, but I'm looking for something a little more dramatic.
it's not a big room, but it's my mom cave :)

my main work station. Purple mat is my cutting board.

my favorite part!

the other side of the room is where our desktop sits.
Big long Ikea Vika Desks provide lots of room- I love them!

I would be lost without this calendar!
And that little boy!
The green quatrefoil binder is my momager book.

I made this ribbon holder by buying a long wooden dowel, sliding it through the center of the ribbon wheels and attaching it to the wall by tying ribbon to the ends, then tying that ribbon around a thumbtack which is hidden behind the fabric. That's it!

I got this white Johnathan Adler desk organizer from Barnes & Noble.
It holds Etsy orders waiting to be filled.
Pens are just in a mason jar. You know how I love my mason jars!

this little ironing board gives it away that I only iron little pieces of cut fabric and not my hubby's dress shirts.
Bad wife! ;)

the 3 Rubbermaid drawers under the computer desk act as my little shipping station.
The top one hold all my paper and cardstock for printing projects like these.

the middle drawer keeps safe the completed products that are currently listed in the shop.

the bottom drawer holds all my shipping envelopes, tissue paper, biz cards, stickers, etsy invoices, etc... that go into shipping my items.

the queen bee of the room. I love my Singer Curvy :)

I made these paper lanterns but I think once I paint the room I will replace them with some brighly colored poofs.

So there's a little tour of my {in progress} craft room!
I'm a big believer in having functional spaces to achieve what we desire.
Crafting at the kitchen table just wasn't gonna work for me.
Even if it's a walk-in closet you're hubby will give up, having a space for you and all your lovelies really can get the creative juices flowing.
♥♥♥
Happy Crafting!

  1. This room is wonderful!! It's not too much, looks just right to me. I don't really have a space like this. We do have a large garage that I'm thinking of claiming an end for this type thing. Not exactly what I would prefer, but hey, it would still serve some purpose. I also really love this desk! :)
