I hate exercise.

When I was pregnant I ate everything. You could have sat a plate of nuts & bolts in front of me and I probably would've drooled.

I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but there were even times when Danny would take the trash out and I would run (literally) to the kitchen and eat like 2 oatmeal creampies by the time he came back. Then I'd eat one when he was here, so it looked like I was only eating one but I really ate three.
So now that I'm 4.5 months into my post-baby life, I'm still stuck at the same weight. I notice my waist will look thinner, and my prebaby clothes will fit better, but I stay at the same weight. Curse that number!!!
My problem is that I am not one of those women who go to the gym everyday. In fact, I despise exercising. Who the hell likes to be out of breath and greasy with a pain in their side? Not this sista. I'd much rather be consuming tasty carbs.
So today I worked out a bit on my living room. I guess I'm off to a mildly decent start, so I'll see how this goes. More updates soon.

Sam is 4 months old!

My son Sam is now 4 1/2 months old and he gets more and more amazing everyday! He giggles so much now- he's such a happy baby. I couldn't ask for a better baby, or a better situation. Danny and I are so happy. I love my life. Everyday I wake up I know how lucky I am and I thank God for blessing me with so much love, far beyond my deserving!
Sam now knows his name, and will respond to "Sam" and "Sammy". He follows voices and will look at us when we speak. He can roll over from belly to back and back to belly, and he can push up on his arms, but cannot yet crawl. He coos and "talks" all the time. It's the cutest sound ever.
He also just started getting baby food. He started on Gerber's 1st foods with apple, then banana, and tonight we will start peaches.
Sam's favorite game right now is Peek-a-Boo and he gets really excited when we say it!
He loves to hang out in his crib watching his mobile move above him and loves to look at the giraffe and bird that are on his crib bumper. So far, I think his favorite color is red because it's the color he seems to favor and is most drawn to.
I love my little fat man- he gets cuter and more fun every day!
